Hotel Best Negresco - Salou

My children and I greatly enjoyed being there, it's great and lovely hotel. I were given immaculate and perfect rooms with fridge, a large balcony plus internet access.

I was a bit cold at night they should provide more duvets and there were no english channels on tv

By and large, it was fantastic base for sightseeing in Salou, had much fun and met consistently courteous and pleasant staff with the All Inclusive service and rudeness of the pool bar staff.

The hotel was very nice with the rooms being very comfortable and clean. The rooms had air conditioning which was nice considering how hot it was at times. We had the most beutuifull view from our hotel room but not all rooms at the hotel were facing the same way . All in all it was a very nice hotel and I would have no problem in staying there again.

The food was not very good but that was realy the only thing.

This was our second time to stay in the Negresco hotel. We love the location and proximity to a secluded beach, ideal for children.The food is varied and always good.

I liked the room ( Negresco 2, rom 214) with the sea view and the large balcony..Beds are comfortable and bathroom is good.The room is spacious with good Tv channels.The pool at Negresco 2 is quite big and the water is warm enough to swim.It is not as busy as the pol at the other hotel so one can get a sunbed easily and enjoy some reading undisturbed.The beach is 2mn walk and very nice.Internet access is available in the bar area, in a quiet corner for 1 euro a mn.There is a tiny superrmarket about 50 meters from the hotel which sells everything for the beach as well as cold drinks and the usual basic grocery.It is also very close to Port Aventura, about 10mn by car so parents can stay at the hotel while teenagers can enjoy Port Aventura.

The food was not that great but this hotel seems to be catering mostly for citizens from Russia.The food is better at Negresco 2 than Negresco 1.The only downside to this hotel is that it is about 10mn away from the main town by car so one must take a taxi to get there,which the hotel will call for you.

A nice place to spend a few days chilling beside the pool, and seeing a bit of the area. A very reasonable room/breakfast rate.

Hotel is wonderful, staff is very friendly, food (especially dinner) is very various, every day you can try something new. The notel is located on the seashore, five minutes to the beach. Only minus that it is far from the center of Salou (25-30 minutes by walk), but you can use special transport.

Staff friendly and caring. (e.g. provided us a late meal on arrival) Entertainment team were very good during the day, night shows were a bit cheesy but hey, that's part of the appeal. Food was good and plentiful, wide enough choice that you can have something different every day. Ideal location for beach nearby. (Platja Llarga)

Location may put some people off, Cap Salou is about 30 mins walk away from Salou centre, so don't expect lots of nightlife. Some staff don't speak English, but they do speak great Spanish, French and Russian!

Really good sea views and a friendly. The entertainment at night kept us engaged, and the food variety, especially themed dinners, was a highlight. The daytime receptionist lacked a cute demeanor, and our towels were old and worn. Finally, a minor incident with missing bus tickets caused stress, underscoring the need for more attentive service during check-out.

The views were amazing.....beautiful,the reception staff friendly. Breakfast was lovely,sparkling cava with it.Good location for a lovely beach. Lovely bar area.Swimming pool and terrace lovely.

Dark corridors but i know this is energy saving.The communal toilets need updating not 4* for these. Better shower facilities near the pool.

We stayed at the hotel from the 6th to the 12th of Oct 2012. Great location on the sea front. We stayed in a sea view room on the 4th floor with a panoramic view of the coast. The sunsets were brilliant. The hotel was nice and quiet. The staff were very helpful towards us. Perfect place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing get away. Several beaches just a very short walk away, calm sea, clear warm water. A coastal path with some great views takes you all the way into Salou, about a 20 to 30 minute walk. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would not hesitate to book it again for the same time of year.

Existing animation is very poor, should be more activities for children.

The location is great, situated in a quiet area close to lovely beaches and walking routes. I really enjoyed the stunning sea views from the balcony, especially during sunset. The staff were welcoming and helpful. There were issues with cleaning, as our room wasn't tidied up for two days despite us leaving it available for service. The food was decent but not particularly nice, with a few good meat dishes and thematic dinners that lacked variety.
